LocalizaciónGuide of the Province
As much light or as little as any other place at these altitudes, but different, ours. Accompany us to the look-out posts where "Huelva, the Light" becomes a reality. In the Sierra, at a thousand metres altitude, from the Cerro de San Cristobal and in any sunset or sunrise, the low light stretches the shadow of the smallest relief, elevating the tops to the highest mountains, bringing closer the sea. A sea with two horizons, strange privilige to see how the sun sets twice every evening, setting nearby behind the Flecha del Rompido, and in the Atlantic, far away and ordinary..

LocalizaciónColumbian Sites
The time was the morning of the third of August 1492 and the place the confluence of the Tinto and Odiel Rivers, where, from the beginning of time, their waters have flowed together before emptying into the vast Atlantic Ocean; the event, three vessels setting sail toward an uncertain destination, and equally certain destiny. The expert seamanship of a handful of men, the blessings of the monks at La Rábida Monastery and a commision from the Catholic Monarchs guided Admiral Christopher Columbus in his grand feat - the crossing of the oean to a new continent. This exceptional spot in southern Spain, meeting point for Tartessians, Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs, has stood by its Colombian ambition and tradition ever since.

LocalizaciónBeaches of Huelva
From the mouth of the Guadiana to the one from the Guadalquivir the Atlantic Coast of Huelva, in Andalusia, offers 120 kms of coastline, 80 kms of them being wide beaches with white sand and bordered by green pine forests. Perfectly indicated, each one of them is accessed from the highway Sevilla-Huelva-Ayamonte-Portugal (E-1/A-49), that like a comb links the coast with the interior, a road network design that allows to keep, like a green lung for our beaches, our natural spaces protected by separating the tourist centers.
